Clubs and restaurants are abundant, a must see in Sebastian is Capt. Hiram's with its laid back native feel and outdoor tiki bar on the Indian River, it's a local favorite. It's like three places in one. Inside tends to be more laid back with live music with a tropical flavor. Outside in the tiki bar you may hear a local musician performing a Jimmy Buffet tune, on weekend there is dancing with live bands performing anything from country or rock music to reggae or dance tunes.
In Vero Beach the Riverside Cafe offers a taste of the local flavor, located at the foot of Barber Bridge, it has a spectacular view of the Indian River, and it's a great place to relax and unwind with a tropical beverage.
Sightseeing
And while you're here there are many things to see and do like the Vero Beach Museum of Art or a performance at The Riverside Theater. For a great day outdoors, visit McKee Botanical Garden all in Vero Beach where exotic plants can be viewed in a beautiful landscaped setting.
